About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at PSG Global Solutions Careers. As a key member of our healthcare services team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures in nuclear medicine, requiring a high degree of independent judgment and initiative.
  • Work under the direction of the Manager/In-Charge Technologist and Medical Director to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Operate and maintain auxiliary equipment necessary for procedures, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, selecting and administering the proper radionuclide/medication by the proper route and in the appropriate dosage.
  • Evaluate image appearance and perform additional views as required, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Process and evaluate computer-generated data, identifying trends and patterns to inform patient care.
  • Obtain samples for non-imaging studies, maintaining sterile technique and adhering to departmental protocols.
  • Perform imaging, non-imaging, function studies, and therapeutic exams according to established departmental protocols, or as directed by the nuclear medicine physician or cardiologist.
  • Ensure patient security during movement from one device to another, or from the standing or sitting position to the imaging table.

Requirements
  • Certification Program - Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine technology school
  • 1-year nuclear medicine experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry
  • ARRT (CT)
  • CPR and ARRT(N) registered and/or NMTCB registered
  • SCRQSA License
  • ARRT in Radiology preferred
  • Experience on Philips equipment preferred
  • Spect/CT experience required
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)
  • Proficient computer skills (database)
  • Data entry skills
  • Mathematical skills
  • Strong background in physics/chemistry
  • Radiation Safety equipment knowledge
