Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in humans.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures that require a high degree of independent judgment and initiative.
  • Utilize radionuclides for the diagnosis and therapy of disease in humans.
  • Work under the direction of the Manager/In-Charge Technologist and Medical Director.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement ALARA measures to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Evaluate image appearance and perform additional views as required.
  • Process and evaluate computer-generated data.
  • Prepare and administer interventional pharmacologic agents as directed by protocol.
  • Maintain sterile technique as required.
  • Perform imaging, non-imaging, function studies, and therapeutic exams according to established departmental protocols.
Requirements:
  • Certification Program - Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine technology school.
  • 1-year nuclear medicine experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB registry.
  • ARRT (CT) certification.
  • CPR and ARRT(N) registered and/or NMTCB registered.
  • SCRQSA License.
  • Experience on Philips equipment.
  • Spect/CT experience required.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier).
  • Proficient computer skills (database).
  • Data entry skills.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Strong background in physics/chemistry.
  • Radiation Safety equipment knowledge.
