About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Stanford Health Care. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and therapeutic treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging and Treatment Procedures: Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and therapeutic treatments, under medical supervision.
  • Radiopharmaceutical Preparation: Prepare diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration, following current radiation safety guidelines.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain imaging equipment, including PET and CT scanners.
  • Quality Control: Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field, and certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology, with a strong background in imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
