Service Operations Specialists provide prompt technical assistance for equipment issues, ensuring effective monitoring, testing, and demonstrations that lead to reduced downtime and enhanced product understanding during trials.

This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and installing components as necessary to keep machinery operational.


The work environment typically involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and various weather conditions.

Hearing protection is mandatory in this position.

Service Operations Specialists may occasionally work at significant heights, handle hazardous materials, and face electrical hazards.

This role is classified as Safety Sensitive.

Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering technical assistance through troubleshooting, either remotely or on-site.
- Providing inventory recommendations through suggested stocking guides.
- Managing warranty support by assessing and validating claims, liaising with the Product Company, and submitting service reports to substantiate claims.
- Conducting training sessions for distributors and customers on all relevant features and benefits of our products, including developing tailored courses to meet customer needs.
- Serving as the primary training resource for equipment operation and the correct use of consumables, such as rock drilling tools and installation equipment.
- Setting up and monitoring new or improved components during testing phases.
- Tracking associated costs and data from tests to ensure thorough completion.
- Customizing solutions to resolve customer-specific challenges.
- Communicating service updates and other pertinent activities to customers and service managers through daily service reports or relevant forms, emails, and phone communication.
- Maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor in all interactions with customers and internal teams at all times.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of a Certificate of Completion from a Technical or Trade School, along with three years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must maintain required training certificates from the US Department of Labor, Mine Safety & Health Administration, or agree to complete necessary training programs.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
- If required to operate a commercial vehicle over 26,001 pounds, candidates must meet all requirements to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) for Department of Transportation (DOT) purposes. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to drive commercial motor vehicles within state lines and at least 21 years old for interstate driving.
- Previous work experience should demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and a solid work ethic.
- Successful candidates must be able to sit for extended periods, use their hands for manipulation, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively.
- Travel is a requirement for this position.
