Position Summary:

CGH is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to become a vital member of our team. This role is pivotal in providing engineering design and construction oversight for FAA District projects, ensuring effective coordination with airport sponsors and FAA entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engineering support for locally executed projects.
  • Assist in the implementation of Bipartisan Infrastructure Legislation (BIL) projects.
  • Conduct site surveys and develop Statements of Work (SOW) and Design Plans.
  • Create Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE) and prepare Project Risk Plans (PRP).
  • Oversee project implementation and coordinate with service vendors.
  • Act as the construction oversight engineer when necessary.
  • Ensure quality assurance on reimbursable projects and review sponsor documentation.
  • Communicate project updates to stakeholders and coordinate construction activities.
  • Participate in project discovery meetings to assist in scope development and cost estimating.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 4-7+ years of engineering experience, preferably in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Eligibility for a US Public Trust security clearance.
