Lead Electrical Engineer for Battery Systems

We are looking for a lead electrical engineer with a strong background in power electronics and a solid understanding of battery systems. Exceptional leadership and project management skills are essential.

As a Lead Electrical Engineer for Battery Systems at FastLion Energy Inc., your responsibilities will include:

· Spearheading the development and testing of control systems for our thermal management solutions

· Overseeing R&D initiatives, including mentoring junior engineers

· Coordinating the validation of battery management systems

· Leading collaborations with partner organizations to design innovative battery management systems

· Managing the procurement processes for prototypes

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or electromechanical engineering

· 5-20 years of relevant experience

· Expertise in power electronics, including power MOSFET technology and optimal thermal design

· Proven capability to rapidly learn new equipment and troubleshoot custom-built systems

· Experience with battery management systems is advantageous

· Strong understanding of lithium-ion cells and batteries

· Demonstrated ability to lead complex team projects

· Proven ability to communicate testing results effectively

U.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent residence is a plus.

Compensation: Anticipated salary range: $115,000-140,000 per year, including health insurance, dental, vision, and a PTO plan. Equity options may be negotiated.
