About the Role

LMI is seeking a skilled Financial Management Specialist to support the financial execution, monitoring, and reporting of program execution under the International Security Cooperation Program Account (ISCPA) managed by DSCA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide programmatic and administrative support to ensure the successful execution of financial management tasks.
  • Assist in coordinating and facilitating information management to foster interdepartmental relationships and ensure seamless communication.
  • Perform research and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Produce financial execution reports and monitor funds transferred to Implementing Agencies.
  • Support the production and delivery of the USAI Daily/Weekly Security Cooperation Information Portal (SCIP) Report and Quarterly Monitoring Report.
  • Assist in planning, preparing, and executing meetings requiring financial updates and keep the Country Finance Director informed of financial execution progress and issues.
  • Coordinate with USAI stakeholders and organizations internal to DSCA to include Comptroller (CMP), GCD, and the Office of General Council (OGC).
  • Identify and document improvements to business processes in support of BPC program implementation to strengthen and ready the Department of Defense to achieve a clean audit opinion.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of work experience related to an understanding of Security Assistance and/or Security Cooperation financial and program management is required.
  • General Skills required: Strong computer, analytical skills, and the ability to research and communicate effectively in writing.
  • Knowledge and prior experience in financial management and project management, including budgeting and appropriations as it relates to program execution.
  • Computer Skills required: Proficient in MS Office Suite applications Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; proficiency with Excel to perform data evaluation, formulas, analytics, and spreadsheets.
  • Increased experience in related security cooperation areas and programs is a capability above threshold minimum requirements.
  • Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. For this position, a current SECRET level security clearance is required.
