Job Overview

At Goldfish Swim School - Braintree, we're seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Part Time Front Desk and Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing student registrations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to our families, responding to inquiries, and resolving concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Process student registrations using effective sales and customer service techniques, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Schedule and manage birthday/pool parties, supervising staff and ensuring a fun and safe environment for our guests.
  • Assist clients with purchases of merchandise and vending, providing excellent sales support.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area, snack shack, changing areas, restrooms, and observation area.
  • Check voicemail and email correspondence, responding in a timely manner to ensure seamless communication.
  • Update informational displays with accurate and timely promotions and literature, keeping our families informed.
  • Provide occasional administrative support to management personnel, including the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations, administering first aid when necessary, and ensuring a safe environment for our guests.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Two years of previous customer service and/or administrative office experience required.
  • Intermediate level computer skills required, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and other software systems.
  • Ability to swim and teach swim lessons; lifeguard, CPR, and AED certification required.
