Company Overview

The Sales Activator Manager plays a pivotal role in steering all Sales Activators within the designated region, ensuring the execution of RBDC strategies to outperform competitors and foster sustainable sales growth in large format accounts. This position involves developing and monitoring performance metrics for all direct reports while crafting market solutions through an analytical selling approach and leveraging available market data. Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with senior-level chain contacts, RBNA representatives, and sales and administrative teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Management

Drive Sales Activators to exceed market performance.

Achieve perfect store placements as defined by opportunity ranker.

Set regional targets, monitor progress, and implement action plans to address gaps.

Team Leadership and Development

Guide, mentor, and develop regional sales activators to meet or surpass strategic relationship and sales objectives, ensuring flawless execution of sales and distribution targets.

Foster a diverse team that mirrors the marketplace, embodies Red Bull's values, and inspires through effective leadership.

Conduct annual performance evaluations for all direct reports, supporting their development plans.

Lead by example, ensuring the Sales Activator Team adheres to company standards, HR and performance management requirements, and operational and safety protocols.

Utilizing Tools and Resources for Success

Regularly report on Monthly Performance Review (MPR) and Quarterly Business Review needs, along with other ad hoc reporting to the Director of Sales & Distribution.

Collaborate across the organization, sharing best practices and acting as a key contributor among peers.

Manage strategic account relationships and selling opportunities at a senior level, including non-price related sales initiatives, special packs, and recommendations for incremental sales growth drivers.

Retail Relationship Management

Ensure alignment with RBNA National KA for all Wiring Accounts.

Demonstrate proficiency in retailer operations, enhancing opportunities for in-store presence.

Align with Red Bull sales management on district distribution strategies, routes, new product launches, and volume/sales forecasts.

Assess overall market conditions, competitive threats, and evolving local dynamics that may influence volume, market share, profitability, and other business metrics.

Establish and nurture strong working relationships with senior-level chain contacts to facilitate effective account management; schedule and conduct regular meetings with tailored presentations.

Develop market solutions through an analytical selling approach and utilize all available market data.

Lead and conduct specialized training sessions, Engagement Action Planning, and other initiatives in collaboration with HR.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years experience in Direct Store Delivery (DSD) management.

Proven experience supervising a team of account sales professionals.

Possession of a valid US Driver's License and the ability to obtain a DOT Medical card.

Capability to lift and transport inventory and/or advertising displays weighing up to 25 pounds.

Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Additional Information

The base salary range for this position is $101,000 to $112,000, plus cash incentives.

Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future.
