Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated entry-level sales professional to assist CoinDesk's Global Partnerships team throughout the entire deal process while also generating new business leads. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving revenue and achieving business objectives by being proactive and enhancing efficiency to deliver results. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, a customer-focused approach, and a strong sense of accountability to ensure sales targets are met and surpassed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Partnerships team throughout the complete deal process to support business development efforts.
  • Engage directly with clients to address inquiries and facilitate negotiations.
  • Identify and create lead generation opportunities for the Partnerships team by connecting with targeted accounts.
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape and pursue new business prospects.
  • Support the Partnerships and Digital & Event Operations teams with client communications, executing agreements, managing deals, reporting, and advancing deal progress internally.
  • Monitor revenue and manage digital media and events inventory.
  • Share insights with team members derived from competitive analysis and stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics.
  • Maintain data accuracy in Salesforce and other reporting systems for all sales activities and pipeline metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Strong relationship-building capabilities with a collaborative spirit in a global team environment. Previous experience in a client-facing sales role is a plus.
  • A willingness to learn about media and events products and the client landscape through self-directed study and knowledge sharing.
  • A genuine interest and knowledge of the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.
  • Demonstrated ownership of responsibilities through accountability and effective communication.
  • A results-driven mindset focused on helping the team exceed revenue goals.
  • Self-motivated to excel and assist teams in maximizing efficiency through output and problem-solving.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, ensuring both personal and team tasks are managed effectively to meet objectives.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, G Suite, and LinkedIn. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

CoinDesk Inc. and CoinDesk Indices Inc. are dedicated to providing competitive compensation and benefits. The anticipated base salary for this role ranges from $70,000 to $105,000, along with a discretionary annual target bonus and benefits.
