Job Overview

We are seeking a Financial Program Analyst to contribute to the operations at Sonatech.

Sonatech, LLC is a leading provider of undersea acoustics engineering and manufacturing solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for all financial matters related to assigned programs.
  • Analyze program expenditures against budgets and clarify any discrepancies.
  • Report on program performance, including adherence to plans and remaining efforts.
  • Generate both internal and external financial reports.
  • Collaborate with program teams to ensure accurate forecasting in business profit and loss statements, cash flow projections, and earnings forecasts for various planning cycles.
  • Assist program staff and management with on-demand financial analyses.
  • Lead pricing initiatives and prepare financial tables and payment schedules for proposal submissions.
  • Educate program support personnel on financial tools, policies, and procedures.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at process enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with U.S. Government contract types, including Fixed Price and Cost Plus.
  • Knowledge of costing and pricing for compliant U.S. Department of Defense proposals.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience with General Ledger, Pricing, and Material Resource Planning (MRP) software.
  • Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and collaborate effectively.
  • Capability to work with diverse cross-functional teams and various organizational levels.
  • Ability to interpret complex documents and produce clear, concise instructions.
  • Experience managing projects with intricate details.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and competing projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial program analysis.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the Aerospace sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Salary Range: $96,000 - $120,000
