Position Summary:
This role, reporting to the Principal Budget Analyst, encompasses a broad spectrum of financial and administrative functions. The incumbent will engage in financial reporting, analytical assessments, annual review coordination, and ensure compliance with established budgetary controls and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Services Administration: Assist in the evaluation and endorsement of budgetary modifications and fund carryforwards. Review adjustments for precision and adherence to institutional policies.
  2. Financial Reporting: Aid in generating fundamental financial and budget reports, including ad hoc analyses for senior management, focusing on forecasts and projections.
  3. Administrative Support: Contribute to the establishment and upkeep of office protocols and administrative frameworks, ensuring efficient workflow and communication across departments.
  4. Special Projects: Participate in the assessment of enhancements to financial systems and support the implementation of new budget systems.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of comprehensive knowledge and experience in financial processes and policies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills demonstrated in a professional context.

Preferred:
- Experience in higher education or fund accounting environments.
- Proficiency in financial data management and reporting systems.
- Advanced skills in Excel and data management.

This position supports a hybrid work model, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work, with a preference for some in-person collaboration.
