Position Overview:


The primary responsibility of the Regional Sales Manager is to promote and sell medical instruments and associated services to healthcare professionals, including physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with these medical providers.

The Regional Sales Manager will frequently operate away from the company's main office while fulfilling job responsibilities.

The designated area for this role encompasses South Florida and the Eastern Florida Coast, stretching from Miami to Melbourne.


The Urology division of Cook Group specializes in diagnostic and therapeutic solutions, particularly focusing on stone management, oncology, voiding dysfunction, and pelvic health.


The product offerings include ureteral access sheaths, dilation and occlusion balloon catheters, ureteral and urethral stents, stone retrieval devices, biopsy instruments, drainage catheters, lasers, and lithotripters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
  • Formulate, implement, and manage an annual business strategy for the assigned territory.
  • Achieve and surpass established sales targets.
  • Engage in national, state, and regional sales exhibitions.
  • Submit timely expense reports.
  • Stay informed about the managed healthcare landscape.
  • Provide education to clients through discussions, presentations, and informational materials.
  • Travel overnight as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively and professionally with colleagues across various levels of the global organization.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols.
  • Maintain consistent and punctual attendance.
  • Uphold company standards for quality and productivity.
  • Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain composure and receptiveness in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

Essential Experience and Educational Background:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred; or equivalent experience that provides a comparable foundation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with limited direct oversight.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Must be capable of operating a motor vehicle regularly, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain good standing to legally drive.

  • Regularly lift product sample cases weighing between 20 and 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally required to stand for extended durations.
  • Sit for prolonged periods and utilize close visual acuity for tasks involving computers and similar equipment.
  • Work in a general office environment.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and perform stooping, kneeling, or crouching activities.
