About the Role

U Mass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Clinician to join our Adult Mobile Crisis Services team. As a key member of our crisis response team, you will provide critical support to individuals in need of behavioral health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their behavioral health needs.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address client needs and promote positive outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation services to clients in crisis.
  • Collaborate with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to develop and implement safety plans.
  • Document all interactions with clients and stakeholders in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases and develop treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in behavioral health services.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a clinical field such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Satisfactory CORI background check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in crisis response or behavioral health services.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in behavioral health services.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends. The successful candidate will be able to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds and move about the space periodically during the shift.
