Position Overview:

As a pivotal member of our Strategic Innovation team, you will leverage your programming expertise to enhance the understanding and processing of extensive datasets through machine learning (ML). Your role is essential in applying statistical analyses to business operations, enabling the delivery of tailored solutions that prioritize customer needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain ML models that adapt and learn from data.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of mission-critical solutions by selecting the most suitable ML algorithms and technologies.
  • Collaborate with a diverse group of professionals, including data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, and product owners, to create innovative solutions that address real-world challenges.
  • Utilize your consulting skills and technical knowledge to guide clients through the complex landscape of ML algorithms, tools, and frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dashboard development, data science, MLOps, DevOps, software engineering, or application development.
  • Proficiency in natural language processing, deep learning, reinforcement learning, or computer vision.
  • Experience in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages including Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby.
  • Understanding of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions.
  • Capability to develop infrastructure-as-code, focusing on automated server or network configurations and large-scale software deployments.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
  • Experience deploying Kubernetes in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with Authority to Operate (ATO) processes for Department of Defense operations.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline solutions or tools, including GitLab.
  • Knowledge of system integration using protocols like JSON, REST, and XML.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, including Docker, Azure, or AWS.
  • Knowledge of Linux or UNIX system administration and automation principles.
  • Familiarity with classified environment processes and protocols.
  • Kubernetes Certification is a plus.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

The salary for this position is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range is between $75,600.00 and $172,000.00 annually.

Work Environment:

Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. If the position is remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.
