Job Title: Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Operations Manager to join our team at Best Western San Diego Miramar. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk, guest services, and administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support hotel operational processes and guest services, including purchasing, brand reporting, guest relations, and staff management.
  • Train and supervise front office staff, ensuring they provide professional and friendly service to our customers.
  • Assist with breakfast service and housekeeping as needed, ensuring our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.
  • Schedule shifts and ensure the front desk is well-organized and equipped with necessary materials.
  • Provide timely and accurate customer service, handling complaints and specific customer requests via email or brand channels.
  • Monitor stock and order office supplies, ensuring our hotel is always well-stocked and prepared for our guests.
  • Ensure proper mail distribution and maintain accurate records of hotel operations.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in hotels, with a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving results.
  • Ability to organize multiple projects, manage and prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of computers and software, including email, word processing, spreadsheet software, and hotel management systems.
