About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director to oversee all operations, functions, and activities for our Substance Use Disorder Treatment facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate activities of multiple departments with department directors, supervisors, and corporate staff.
  • Review performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement, and identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and licensing regulations, including client rights.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures.
  • Ensure timely staff orientation, education, and supervision.
  • Work with Corporate leadership to determine staffing requirements and interview candidates as needed.
  • Establish clear lines of responsibility and accountability within direct reporting departments.
  • Provide facility reporting information to appropriate Leadership as indicated.
  • Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well maintained.
  • Complete payroll and invoice approval for employees, contractors, and vendors.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with facility staff, service providers, community resources, and clients.
  • Ensure admission interviews with clients are conducted according to facility policies.
  • Ensure compliance with emergency services policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all Company policies and procedures are followed, including infection prevention and boundaries with clients.
  • Address plans of correction, licensing deficiencies, and complaint reports as required by the State's Licensing Agency in a timely manner.
  • Assist with employee relations issues as they arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with five (5) years of full-time, or equivalent, administrative or supervisory experience in a licensed substance abuse disorders treatment facility.
  • Proficiency in reviewing performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with accreditation standards and licensing regulations.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, OASAS, The Joint Commission, and general licensing standards.
  • Ability to function as a team player by collaborating with corporate leadership on staffing requirements and candidate interviews.
  • Effective time management skills.
