Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and driven Technical Consulting Manager with a strong background in Splunk to become a part of our innovative team at Conducive. This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities. The ideal candidate will dedicate half of their time to managing a team of consultants while the other half will focus on delivering technical Splunk services to our esteemed clients. This position is vital for ensuring the effective execution of projects, upholding exceptional customer satisfaction, and fostering the growth of our technical team.

Management Responsibilities (50%)
  • Guide, mentor, and oversee a team of consultants, offering support and opportunities for professional advancement.
  • Manage project assignments, ensuring optimal utilization of consultants and timely, budget-compliant project delivery.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, establish objectives, and monitor team members' progress.
  • Encourage a collaborative and high-performance environment within the team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Address any team or project-related challenges swiftly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Assist Splunk Consultants with technical inquiries and obstacles.
Technical Responsibilities (50%)
  • Design, develop, and deploy Splunk solutions customized to meet client requirements.
  • Execute Splunk installations, configurations, and upgrades.
  • Create and manage Splunk dashboards, reports, and alerts.
  • Diagnose and resolve Splunk-related issues for clients.
  • Perform data analysis and deliver insights to clients based on Splunk data.
  • Engage with clients to comprehend their needs and provide expert recommendations.
  • Stay informed about the latest Splunk features and best practices to ensure optimal performance and value for clients.
Qualifications
  • Experience with various data analysis tools and technologies.
  • Understanding of IT operations, security, and monitoring.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role with substantial Splunk expertise.
  • Demonstrated experience in a leadership or managerial capacity, preferably overseeing a team of consultants.
  • Strong technical proficiency in Splunk, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
  • Robust problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant Splunk certifications are highly desirable.
