Position Overview


As the Marketing Operations Associate Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supporting essential marketing tools that facilitate the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and Best Buy's Retail Media Network.


Your expertise will be vital in the ongoing enhancement of source system technologies, acting as the primary authority on these systems.


You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical teams by providing detailed specifications for tool development, testing functionalities, and offering support for processes and training.


As a key resource, you will address inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to marketing tools.


This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring some days on-site at a Best Buy location and other days working remotely. Specific arrangements will be discussed during the hiring process.


Key Responsibilities
  • Establish project objectives, enhance tools, and evaluate functionalities based on business requirements.
  • Develop documentation for standard operating procedures to support training, which may include demonstrations and facilitation.
  • Communicate updates, assess change impacts, and assist in the rollout of technologies and ongoing improvements from maintenance to optimization.
  • Contribute administratively to tool maintenance.
  • Effectively secure alignment on action plans and resolve issues by leveraging organizational knowledge; cultivate and maintain relationships within a network of contacts.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in content management systems/tools or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience in leading projects, conducting training, or similar roles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce, Adobe/Workfront, or similar marketing/advertising management tools.
  • Proven experience in gathering stakeholder requirements and integrating new projects into existing business systems.
  • Background in the marketing/advertising industry.
  • Experience with retail and national brands is preferred.
  • Associate degree or equivalent industry experience.
