Job Description

This part-time role involves working every Saturday and Sunday from 7am-3pm, with an average of 16 hours per week at $19.38/hour. As a Saturday and Sunday Direct Support Professional, you will provide direct care to individuals with special needs in a residential setting.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide Essential Care: Assist with personal care, hygiene, and treatments, including administration of medications, recording vital signs, and ordering supplies.
  2. Communicate Effectively: Engage in respectful, courteous, and appropriate verbal and written communications with teams, family members, guardians, DDS, and external healthcare providers.
  3. Maintain Records: Accurately record vital signs, administer medications, and maintain records as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, and completion of the agency's employee training.
  • Driver's License and Insurance: Valid driver's license and insurability with the agency carrier.
  • Training and Certifications: Completion of CPR, First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration training if not already certified.
