Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in social work, hospice care, nursing home, or home community care.

Duties:

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Ensure residents' rights are respected and upheld
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Assist with heavy lifting when necessary
  • Work with individuals with developmental disabilities and dementia
  • Provide caregiving services tailored to individual needs

Requirements:

  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred
  • Familiarity with dementia care practices is a plus
  • Ability to drive for client transportation purposes

The salary range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00 per hour. We offer a competitive benefits package, including mileage reimbursement for outside-of-county travel, professional development assistance, and safety equipment provided.
