Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Specialist to join our team at CCARC INC.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, working every other Saturday and Sunday from 9am-3pm or 9am-2pm. As a Direct Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct care in a residential setting to individuals with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide respectful and courteous verbal and written communications to and from teams related to participant care.
  • Ensure effective documentation and record keeping of daily observations and reports.
  • Coordinate health and hygiene-related appointments with family members, guardians, DDS, and external healthcare providers.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive salary of $18.46 per hour.
  • Part-time: 11 hours biweekly.
  • Benefits package including 401(k) and employer match.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Valid Driver's License and insurable with Agency carrier.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Experience with Microsoft products and email preferred.
