Job Overview

We are currently in search of a Supervisor Electrical Tester based in Waltham, MA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the achievement of weekly testing schedules.
  • Determine staffing, training, and equipment needs to meet current and future testing demands.
  • Oversee inventory management through cycle counting; address discrepancies and update count data.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance departmental capabilities and optimize utilization.
  • Review and implement MV's and ECO's with team members, ensuring the reconciliation of outdated and new documentation, and the completion of training records.
  • Utilize SAP for managing work orders and material transactions, ensuring precise test documentation completion.
  • Conduct and manage performance evaluations.
  • Guide team members to enhance their skills and establish redundant testing capabilities.
  • Oversee training requirements and maintain master control training records.
  • Administer calibration and maintenance for all equipment related to the department.
  • Ensure adherence to all company and departmental policies and procedures, addressing performance issues as needed.
  • Manage daily staffing assignments and rotation plans.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in work areas.
  • Collaborate with R&D on the introduction of new products, assisting in the development of test procedures and fixtures.
  • Coordinate with master scheduling, quality control, manufacturing managers, and engineers as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with GMP and ISO standards; knowledge of FDA requirements is advantageous.
  • Experience with ERP systems; SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing/testing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach, coach, mentor, and lead team members.
  • Skilled in conducting critical business assessments and executing project plans.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication across all organizational levels.
  • Proficient problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Capable conflict management skills.
  • Self-driven with a sense of urgency.
  • Adaptable to changing situations and requirements.
  • Possess situational awareness to monitor testing operations and align capabilities with manufacturing and business objectives.
  • Highly proficient in using computers, various testing platforms, data collection systems, and MS software applications.
  • Technical degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • Over 10 years of hands-on experience in testing printed circuit boards and electronic/electromechanical assemblies, including at least 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment is a plus.
