Position Summary:

We are currently looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer with a strong background in control systems. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and troubleshoot electrical and mixed-signal electronic systems.
  • Create control systems, including PID, state variable, digital, and estimation methodologies.
  • Engineer embedded real-time systems.
  • Oversee projects from initial specifications through to final delivery and acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop electro-mechanical designs and produce functional hardware.
  • Conduct simulations and breadboard testing to validate designs.
  • Construct test fixtures and develop testing scripts for systems.
  • Assist in the debugging of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Adhere to quality management system protocols as trained.
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a dynamic product development environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Eligibility for ITAR and defense contract work.
  • Proficient in using test and measurement equipment, including DMMs, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
  • Familiarity with ECAD tools for PCB design (experience with Altium Designer is a plus).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with common communication buses such as I2C, UART, SPI, and Ethernet.
  • Knowledge of outsourcing builds to assembly houses for PCAs, panels, and cables.
  • Basic understanding of software, with familiarity in C/C++, Python, and/or ROS platforms.
  • Adept at navigating a challenging technical and customer-oriented environment.
  • Ability to approach designs from a systems perspective.
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical systems and strong system-level debugging capabilities.
