Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Supervisor to join our team at Herbein + Company, Inc. You will also supervise multiple engagements independently and ensure that all work papers and reports meet the firm's standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Supervise and mentor audit staff, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Review and approve work papers and reports to ensure compliance with firm standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather information, resolve audit-related issues, and provide recommendations.
  • Evaluate internal controls and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and manage audit documents, work papers, and client deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • CPA certification or working towards certification.
  • 5-7 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit and assurance services.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
