Job Summary

The Territory Sales Manager, Physician Offices & Ambulatory Surgery Centers is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy for assigned territory. This position will be expected to effectively utilize company resources and position products to meet sales and customer satisfaction objectives with new and existing customers in ambulatory surgery centers, physician offices/clinics, urgent care, and clinics.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Represents company products and solutions in ambulatory surgery centers and physician offices/clinics to achieve assigned sales quota.
  • Generates and manages a weekly sales pipeline in a customer relationship management system.
  • Works with regional sales managers, clinical support staff, vice presidents of sales, and company local area team members to ensure growth.
  • Completes assignments, reports, and all administrative tasks in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provides post-sale product and solution training to ambulatory surgery centers and physician offices/clinics.
  • Trains, supports, and provides appropriate attention for contracted distribution representatives.
  • Collaborates with company's extended sales teams to maximize sales.
  • Interfaces with product managers to stay up to date with products and new releases.
  • Performs special projects as requested.
  • Owns the customer relationship throughout the sales cycle.

Minimum Qualifications & Traits

  • One to two years of business-to-business sales experience with a track record of meeting quota. Preference given to medical device sales experience.
  • Experience in capital equipment sales and sales processes related to technology equipment;
  • Ambition, desire, and drive to further develop career;
  • Successful and demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Relationship building skills.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation, and self-discipline.
  • Travel up to 75% of the time, with overnight stays. Trade-shows may require weekend work.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.

Education

Bachelor degree is required.

Physical requirements/Work Environment

This position primarily works outside of a traditional office environment, making frequent customer sales calls on a daily basis. Must be able to travel extensively (both domestically and locally), so the ability to travel by air and operate a motor vehicle is required. Must have a valid Driver's license with a driving record that meets company's insurance requirements. It also requires frequent driving, sitting, standing, and walking. May stand for extended periods when facilitating customer meetings or walking in facilities. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required.
