About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team in the Municipal sector. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts and strive to meet sales targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
  • Be the main point of contact for Customers, Consultant Engineers, Regulatory Agencies, Contractors, and Representatives.
  • Be responsible for system sizing, pricing, and commissions for all municipal systems.
  • Be responsible for all purchase orders, sales targets, and tenders.
  • Identify any trends or issues that could affect the marketplace, while taking corrective action to achieve orders, bookings, and funnel health goals.
  • Establish and maintain effective day-to-day operational relationships with channel partners, agents, OEMs within the assigned territory.
  • Work from your home office while traveling to visit customers, regulatory bodies, contractors, etc.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a territory utilizing a CRM, including planning, forecasting, managing, and implementing sales plans.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Technical and/or Sales experience.
  • Capability to travel via car or plane within territory for significant portions of each fiscal year.
  • It would be a bonus if you have experience working with municipal partners or with the water industry.
