Job Summary

The Clinical Informatics Specialist is a key member of the informatics department at TrueCare, responsible for supporting clinical and business partners and initiatives. This role involves translating clinical content into clinical applications, analyzing workflows, and implementing change management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translate clinical content into clinical applications
  • Analyze and improve healthcare delivery workflows and processes
  • Implement change management and lead implementation or project teams
  • Design, build, test, and train clinical applications for implementations, optimizations, and maintenance
  • Provide technical insight and share knowledge as a certified EHR informaticist
Requirements
  • EPIC Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2-5 years of healthcare experience directly supporting an EHR application as an analyst/informaticist
  • Understanding of healthcare delivery workflows and processes
  • Understanding of fundamental project management methodology and demonstrated ability to serve as lead for an implementation or project
  • Knowledge of different learning styles, effective teaching methodologies, and tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-conferencing systems
  • Understanding of HIPAA Privacy
  • Knowledge of the different methods available to facilitate learning transfer
  • Knowledge of information systems, including office automation and data analysis tools
Nice to Have
  • Master's degree
  • Healthcare licensure (RN, LVN, RT)
  • 2 years of healthcare experience working in a direct patient care area
  • Project Management Experience
  • Direct experience as an analyst/informaticist supporting an EHR Implementation and/or EHR version upgrade
  • Valid California Driver's License, proof of auto liability insurance, and clean driving record
