As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist with Clinical Pathology Laboratories, you will play a vital role in supporting the Phlebotomy Supervisor with departmental goals and objectives. This includes training and monitoring staff, as well as traveling to multiple phlebotomy worksites as needed. You will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and customer-focused service, performing venipuncture on patients of all ages, and collecting and preparing non-blood specimens. Additionally, you will ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering, while championing safety, compliance, and quality control.

To be successful in this role, you will need a High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license with an excellent driving record for the past three years, and previous phlebotomy training or experience. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential. Bonus points if you have 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing, or certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
