Your Role:

The Taylor Healthcare Software Development team is in search of a Cloud Operations Specialist to develop healthcare software solutions for hospitals across the United States.

Key responsibilities encompass establishing and managing build and deployment pipelines, overseeing production and laboratory infrastructure, and administering complex development systems for healthcare applications.

Candidates should be adaptable and prepared to engage in an agile development environment.

Your Key Duties:

Collaborate with existing pipelines and develop new ones to facilitate the building and deployment of our applications.
Assist in ensuring the visibility of application and infrastructure performance through monitoring, threshold setting, and alerting.
Create, maintain, and enhance development, QA, and production environments/pipelines for the Taylor Healthcare suite of applications, both on-premises and in the Azure Cloud.
Provide support for production environments, including participation in 24x7 on-call rotations.
Take ownership of and drive enhancements to our build and release scripts, tools, and processes.
Contribute to the design of significant improvements within established architectural guidelines.
Be prepared to introduce new automation technologies and processes to enhance the quality and resilience of our engineering efforts.
Collaborate with development, integration, support, and IT teams to ensure requirements are met and assist in developing standards and processes for cloud environments.
Work within a cross-functional team to achieve development objectives, ensuring timely and high-quality task completion.

Stay updated with software and industry trends, demonstrating a willingness and capability to quickly learn new technologies necessary for project success. Interact professionally and effectively with colleagues and clients.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience with Azure PaaS Applications
- 3+ years of experience with DevOps tools and release engineering
- Familiarity with infrastructure/pipeline as code and best practices
- Understanding/experience with web services, databases, and related infrastructure/architectures
- Proficient scripting skills with PowerShell
- Knowledge of the Microsoft application development/hosting stack, including .Net Framework/Core, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, IIS, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Networking and Security, Microsoft IIS Applications, Microsoft SQL Server scripting, and Microsoft Operating Systems
- Understanding of networking concepts both on-premises and in the cloud, including load balancers, Azure Application Gateways, WAF, DNS, subnets/vnets, etc.

Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or equivalent experience
- Experience with Azure DevOps Tools (BOARDS, PIPELINES, REPOS, TEST PLANS, ARTIFACTS)
Some roles may involve working on government contracts, which may require U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a government background check, including fingerprinting.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Terraform, and Octopus Deploy
- Familiarity with Microsoft development and build tools, such as Visual Studio, MSBuild, etc.
- Experience with C#/.Net development
- Knowledge of TFS Work Item ticketing system or similar systems
- Familiarity with Git source control system
- Experience in the Healthcare Industry or developing applications for sale
- Understanding the process of migrating legacy on-premise applications to cloud-based solutions

Additional Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
