Key Responsibilities:

This vital role encompasses various front desk responsibilities, including delivering exceptional customer service, managing patient check-ins and check-outs, scheduling appointments, handling referrals, verifying insurance, obtaining authorizations, and collecting payments.

  • Greet and welcome patients warmly.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes in accordance with company protocols, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Respond to phone inquiries and direct patients and visitors appropriately.
  • Register patients and establish accounts within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
  • Schedule appointments efficiently for both new and returning patients.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks promptly, including preparing patient charts, verifying insurance, authorizations, data entry, and payment collection.
  • Complete opening and closing duties, along with other assigned tasks.
  • Exhibit outstanding customer service while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic office skills (telephone etiquette, filing, data entry) along with fundamental math skills.
  • Exceptional telephone manners, a friendly demeanor, and excellent customer service abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
