Job Responsibilities:
  • Filling in as swing shop foreman when needed.
  • Mentoring and training team members in the shop.
  • Maintaining and repairing construction trucks and equipment, including hydraulic repair, brake work, electrical repairs, and welding.
  • Performing service repairs in the field.
  • Working on a wide variety of units, from small fleet vehicles to class 8 trucks, trailers, construction equipment, and large mining machines.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork.
  • Ensuring all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Previous mechanical experience on class 8 trucks and trailers.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is desirable.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, physical/functional exam, and drug screen.
  • A professional and courteous attitude towards all team members.
