Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Technician to support our Company's Quality objectives. This role involves running first pieces on CMM, analyzing CMM reports, and providing necessary support to Manufacturing and other departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and Measure Parts: Inspect parts with dimensional results to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • CMM Calibration and Maintenance: Calibrate all CMM relative to the calibration program and perform general gauge repair.
  • Capability Studies and Measurement System Analysis: Perform capability studies as needed and facilitate measurement system analysis.
  • Product Qualification Testing: Perform product qualification testing using laboratory equipment and confirm results with secondary measurement systems.
  • Scrap Collection and Reporting: Collect scrap from the production floor at the end of the shift and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: High School Degree or GED required, with experience in quality control, inspection, or a related field.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and other departments when issues arise.
  • CMM Operation and Maintenance: Knowledge of CMM operation, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Job Prioritization and Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
