We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Store Manager to join our team at Ken Towery's Tire & Auto Care. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in the efficient and productive operation of our service bays, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and their vehicles are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Support our automotive technicians in establishing and maintaining a productive sales environment, providing training and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Assist with scheduling employees, completing timecards, and assigning work to Lube and Tire technicians to ensure seamless operations.
- Perform duties of an automotive technician when needed, demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional service and quality workmanship.
- Attend meetings and clinics to stay up-to-date with the latest tools, parts, and repair techniques, ensuring that our team is equipped to provide the best possible service to our guests.
Requirements
- High school or GED equivalent.
- 2+ years of automotive and sales experience.
- Valid Driver License.
- Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods, and lift 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and basic algebra to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Guest and team-focused mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Automotive State Inspector License.
- ASE Automotive Certifications.
- Proven Automotive or Automotive Quick Lube sales experience.
- Leadership experience.
