We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Intern to join our team at the Henry Ford Health St. John Hospital's Cardiovascular Unit.
About the RoleThis is a part-time opportunity for an individual looking to gain experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a Nursing Intern, you will work under the supervision of a nurse to provide direct patient care, assist with activities of daily living, and take vital signs.
You will have the opportunity to observe patient responses, document and report observations, and assist with developing care plans.
Requirements- A high school diploma or equivalent required; must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer.
- BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date or job transfer date required.
Please note that this role is a great stepping stone for those looking to pursue a career in nursing.
CompensationThe estimated salary for this position is around $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
