As a Clinical Coordinator MedSurg Full Time Days at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, you will play a vital role in leading our medical care team and ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care.

About the Role

  • Assume shift responsibilities for the care delivery team, overseeing the coordination of patient care and facilitating effective communication among staff members.
  • Evaluate patient care provided by nursing staff and provide feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Participate in process improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to address system and unit-based issues, driving improvements in care delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Provide input into nursing staff performance appraisals and support their professional growth and development.

Requirements

  • An Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing, with a BSN preferred.
  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • One to two years of progressively more responsible experience in a clinical setting, with evidence of leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, delegate to others, and facilitate processes.
