Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Central City Health. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers with medical procedures, exams, and patient care activities.
  • Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and document medical information.
  • Administer medications and perform basic lab tests as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to address concerns and provide support.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a medical assistant preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and medical software applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
