Role Overview

We are seeking a Medical Assistant - Primary Care Promoter to join our team. This role will play a critical part in providing excellent and comprehensive primary care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure and record patient vital signs
  • Record patient interviews and medical histories
  • Catalog and communicate patient needs to physicians and other clinical personnel
  • Prepare patients for examinations and perform routine screening tests
  • Assist physicians with exams and explain treatment procedures to patients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent education (GED)
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare vocational training
  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician or similar in a hospital, medical clinic or comparable environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AMA) or American Red Cross within the first 90 days of employment
