Exciting opportunity for a Field Operations Manager role at a leading staffing agency.

This pivotal position is accountable for overseeing and directing the operational team in the field during project execution. The Field Operations Manager will handle the scope of field assignments while showcasing robust leadership skills to evaluate operations, assess team performance, and serve as a bridge between the client, team members, and management.

  • Proficient in evaluating team performance and offering constructive feedback for enhancement.
  • Ability to communicate site requirements effectively to the recruitment team for staffing needs.
  • Act as a conduit between the client, management, and field operations, implementing identified improvement strategies.
  • Confidence in mentoring, guiding, and delegating tasks to field personnel.
  • Familiarity with sales processes and establishing connections with management and clients on-site.
  • Strong analytical skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently while following directives as necessary.
  • Adaptability to changing workloads and activities.
  • Basic understanding of technical applications for managing field operations, with training provided for comprehensive knowledge.
  • Experience in developing and applying productivity metrics.
  • Awareness of contract requirements and obligations.
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive business and personnel information.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Set performance targets based on client needs and ensure team accountability for achieving these goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational procedures, including safety and quality standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach on-site personnel.
  • Monitor and assess operations and team performance, devising strategies for enhanced efficiency.
  • Assist the recruitment team in selecting suitable candidates for client projects.
  • Regularly utilize technical applications for tracking time and attendance.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of information related to personnel and clients.
  • Travel to various project sites as required.
  • Fulfill expected hours to contribute to project success.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years in an operations or maintenance management role.
  • At least 10 years in a supervisory capacity, managing multiple departments.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to provide positive reinforcement and motivation to team members.
  • Encourage open communication and cross-team learning opportunities.
  • Identify potential challenges and develop solutions to enhance team productivity.
  • Recognize opportunities for process improvements and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong judgment in making hiring decisions and identifying optimal solutions for organizational needs.
  • Ability to think strategically and address overarching concerns using available data.
  • Highly organized with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Flexibility to adjust initiatives and priorities as needed.
