Position Overview

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 2:00am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interprets and evaluates technical drawings, procedures, and specifications that dictate manufacturing operations.
  • Reports findings to relevant departments for necessary corrective measures.
  • Exhibits thorough understanding of the quality assurance guidelines and the associated processes.
  • Verifies that products and services align with technical specifications and customer expectations.
  • Assesses completed aircraft assembly bonds, components, or parts to establish acceptance or rejection based on established criteria.
  • Ensures all documentation related to operations and materials is accurate and complete.
  • Identifies opportunities for design and process enhancements and communicates these to management.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization in all work areas, adhering to 6S principles and utilizing appropriate safety gear.
  • Follows all procedural documentation governing job responsibilities.
  • Demonstrates leadership when collaborating with manufacturing personnel.
  • Communicates effectively in both written and verbal formats.
  • Applies written guidelines to products for thorough inspection.
  • Exhibits flexibility in job responsibilities and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned by supervisory personnel.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a regulated quality environment.
  • A&P License is preferred.
  • Welding certification is advantageous.
  • NDI certification is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Able to function as part of a high-performing team.
  • Capable of working independently in daily tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
  • Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Effective communicator with a tactful approach.
  • Skilled in using standard measurement tools.
