National Account Director, Health Plan/Pharmacy Benefits Management

The National Account Director (NAD) will lead all account management efforts with assigned Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) and National Health Plan accounts. This role requires developing productive business relationships, profitable contracts, and programs to achieve desired formulary access and coverage decisions for the Company's products.
Key Responsibilities- Develops short-term and long-term strategic account plans for assigned accounts.
- Develops and executes the negotiation strategy to achieve profitable product access for priority brands.
- Ensures the pull-through of National Account access positions to the aligned regional accounts.
- Leads extended sales team to meet to drive appropriate utilization and achieve net revenue objectives with assigned customers.
- Delivers on Forecasted Net Sales across the portfolio through management for assigned accounts.
- Conducts routine business reviews to inform internal stakeholders on relevant updates for assigned accounts.
- Provides external insights to inform the organization's profitable product access strategy.
- Ensures proper diligence on policy, legal, regulatory, and company compliance issues.
- Drives innovation to experiment and learn with novel customer and market strategies.
- Demonstrate appropriate financial stewardship of expenses and use of company resources.
- Embraces organizational culture consistent with the Company's Cultural Tenets.
- Minimum BA/BS.
- Five plus years of managed care account manager or equivalent experience is required, previous large/strategic account management role desired.
- Contracting Experience required.
- Customer knowledge and/or national health plan knowledge.
- Product/Disease Knowledge, with traditional chronic drug and specialty drug experience desired.
