Patient Service Representative

About the Role
The Patient Service Representative is a vital member of our front desk team, providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment. As a representative of MultiCare, you will be the first point of contact for patients, setting the tone for their experience with our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, cheerful, and professional service to patients, families, and visitors
- Manage patient flow, scheduling, and registration processes
- Accurately enter and maintain patient data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians to resolve issues and provide assistance
- Work collaboratively with the front desk team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare or customer service role
- Ability to meet minimum hospital hiring standards
