PRE-SCREEN QUESTIONS

Do you have experience presenting materials on the phone or video conference to external audiences, and updating those materials on the fly during the presentation?
Do you have experience creating project timelines and tracking projects through SDLC?

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

To oversee and direct project assignments from inception to completion; to convey results; to provide recommendations to management; and to deliver training.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES: Identifies necessary resources; investigates project data, processes, and history for a comprehensive understanding of project direction.

Generates and evaluates statistical data reports. Develops, prepares, and manages project plans through to completion. Communicates progress of activities to relevant parties. Addresses issues that arise involving clients, when appropriate. Facilitates transition of programs to management personnel. Engages in oral presentations. Develops and delivers training to management and colleagues as required.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs other duties as assigned. Supports the organization's quality initiatives. Travels as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis from an accredited institution preferred.

Computer Science courses preferred.

Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, including three (3) years in project management, office operations management, managed care, insurance-related and/or statistical analysis experience.

Supervisory experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of related field procedures or insurance-related procedures and/or managed care systems and operations
Strong knowledge of project management principles
Proficient in statistical analysis
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Leadership and motivational skills
Analytical and interpretive abilities
Strong organizational capabilities
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
Ability to meet or exceed performance competencies
