About the Role:

  • As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • You will work closely with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project activities, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Preparing project engineering budgets and monitoring project status
    • Providing daily supervision of field staff and reviewing shop drawings and submittals
    • Coordinating technical reviews with design engineers and assisting as required
    • Evaluating work being done on a daily basis and communicating with controlling agencies, clients, engineers, and contractors
    • Scheduling and running pre-construction and job meetings, preparing meeting minutes, and distributing to all parties
    • Recommending acceptance or rejection of work due to compliance or non-compliance with plans and specifications
    • Reviewing and processing Owner/Contractors' design change requests and analyzing extra work costs

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in construction or contracting
  • Possession of a bachelor's or associate degree in civil engineering, civil engineering technology, construction engineering, or construction
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Demonstrated project management and business development skills
  • Experience in site development, general trades, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, and construction inspection and testing
  • Knowledge of construction management, project budget management, and self-motivation
  • Valid driver's license and registered insured vehicle
