About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team at Populous Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality architectural designs and solutions for a variety of public assembly building types, including sports venues, convention centers, and transportation facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement design concepts and solutions for projects, working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met.
  • Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver design projects, including conceptualization, design development, and construction administration.
  • Provide high-level conceptual realization of design work in various image and media formats, including illustration, computer-generated renderings, animations, and motion graphics.
  • Develop and maintain design standards and technical expertise, ensuring consistency and quality across projects.
  • Manage and assist in design and operational research, building and systems programming, site and building analysis, and report documentation.
  • Prepare and present design presentations to clients, communities, and other stakeholders, including public agencies.
  • Assist Project Managers in the construction administration process and coordinate directly with clients in the day-to-day project management of the design development process.
Requirements
  • Master's or bachelor's degree in architecture.
  • Registered Architect with a current license.
  • 6+ years of professional architectural experience.
  • Strong communication and team-oriented skills, with the ability to meet fast-paced project demands.
  • Inventive and creative design thinking, with a collaborative approach and a strong sense of spatial and environmental design.
  • Proficiency in software such as 3DS Max, SketchUp, Maxwell Render, Revit, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
