  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate design efforts during all phases of a project, including master planning, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration.
    • Develop and implement presentation strategies to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and design team members to ensure seamless project execution.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to emerging professionals and contribute to the growth and development of our design team.
    • Participate in interview presentations to help win new business and contribute to the success of our firm.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Requirements:
    • Professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch) from a NAAB-accredited university.
    • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, with a focus on K-12 Educational projects.
    • Architectural registration in Texas is preferred, but not required.
    • LEED accreditation is a plus, but not necessary.
    • Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills, with the ability to effectively present design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign is preferred, but not required.
    • Knowledge of building codes and regulations is essential.
