About Us:

Placement By Design is a design firm that specializes in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, and Master Planning for a wide range of project types and scopes.

Responsibilities:

  • Design skills from conceptual planning to refined detail and site design
  • Design graphic skills and support documentation
  • Computer applications proficiency (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup or other modeling programs)
  • Meeting deadlines and budget requirements
  • Construction methodologies to effectively oversee preparation of CD sets including hardscape, plant materials, specs, and bidding
  • Coordination with several disciplines on various projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum of bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or Urban Design
  • 2-5 years of professional experience working in a design firm
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup
  • Experience with production of construction documents
  • Familiarity with hardscape and plant materials preferred
