We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Designer to lead our team in the design of K-12 Educational projects. This position requires a strong background in architectural design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team to deliver innovative and effective solutions that exceed client expectations.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design efforts during all phases of a project, including master planning, programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, specifications, and construction administration.
  • Develop and implement presentation strategies to effectively communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with consultants, contractors, fabricators, specification writers, and design team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to emerging professionals and contribute to the growth and development of our team.
  • Participate in interview presentations to help win new business and promote our services to potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Requirements:
  • Professional degree in Architecture (B. Arch or M. Arch) from a NAAB-accredited university.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience in architectural design, preferably in educational projects.
  • Architectural registration in Texas is preferred, but not required.
  • LEED accreditation is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills, with the ability to effectively present design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign is preferred, but not required.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations is essential.
  • Experience working on educational projects is required, with a strong understanding of the needs and challenges of this sector.
