Role Summary:

This position is integral to the operations of the Warehouse, focusing on maintaining inventory accuracy, managing the receipt of goods, and overseeing shipments. The Supervisor will plan and delegate tasks to team members to ensure successful performance in their roles. This role involves hands-on collaboration with the team, providing guidance and support on daily assignments. The Supervisor will also fulfill operational requirements as directed by the Warehouse Manager and act as a backup when necessary. A proactive approach to problem-solving is essential to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and foster a clean and secure work environment.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with team members, offering training, guidance, and follow-up to ensure daily objectives are met.
  • Ensure accuracy in WMS inventory and perform cycle counts.
  • Engage with employees in a professional and composed manner.
  • Achieve a shipping performance rate of at least 99% by adhering to established procedures.
  • Report Vendor Compliance issues as they arise.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the facility for safety hazards.
  • Comply with all Human Resource, quality, operational, and safety policies.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of all tasks within Warehouse operations, including equipment certifications.
  • Be available for overtime as required.
  • Perform duties associated with Material Handler I and II roles as needed.

Additional Functions:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating various types of Material Handling equipment and RF scanners.
  • Exhibit problem-solving skills to eliminate bottlenecks in process flow.
  • Be a self-starter.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pay attention to detail.
  • Be flexible and a team player.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Strong foundational math and reading skills.
  • Experience in data entry.
  • Forklift operation experience is preferred.
  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (SAP or similar) is preferred.
  • At least one year of leadership experience is preferred.
