Role Overview:


The individual will be accountable for meticulously verifying the accuracy of all products associated with both incoming and outgoing shipments. This includes ensuring that all items are intact, free from pests, and that production dates are accurately documented.

The role involves confirming that the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of orders align with customer requirements and specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:


1. Conduct thorough counts of all incoming products, cross-referencing with shipping manifests, and inspect all deliveries for any signs of damage, pest issues, and correct production dates prior to storage.

2. Document any shortages, damages, or incorrect shipments using the designated forms and relay this information to the appropriate personnel.
3. Acknowledge receipt of incoming shipments or validate signatures for outgoing goods as per special requests.
4. Verify the contents of outgoing shipments as prepared by warehouse staff, ensuring that the quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing match the customer's order for accuracy and completeness.

5. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently, assisting with the loading and unloading of goods as necessary.

6. Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly workspace.
7. Support warehouse security and conduct operations in a manner that prioritizes safety.
8. Participate in regular physical inventory counts.
9. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Must possess certification for material handling equipment
High School Diploma or Equivalent is preferred
6 months of experience in warehousing or material handling is preferred
